SUNWAY CITY BERHAD (“SUNCITY”) - ACQUISITION OF SHARES BY SUNWAY CITY (IPOH) SDN BHD, A SUBSIDIARY OF SUNCITY

We wish to inform that Sunway City (Ipoh) Sdn Bhd ("SCI"), a 65% owned subsidiary of SunCity had on 3 February 2010, acquired two (2) ordinary shares of RM1/- each, representing 100% of the total issued and paid-up share capital of Linear Plus Sdn Bhd ("LPSB") at par.

LPSB was incorporated on 30 June 2009 and its authorised and paid-up share capital are RM100,000/- and RM2/- respectively. LPSB is presently dormant and its intended principal activity is hotel business.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of SunCity or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the aforesaid acquisition.
